best to include it.
I adopted Bernie from APAH
in December 2007. Here are two pictures of him, the
other one is from his first day at APAH and the other
one is taken this summer. The change in Bernie has been
huge! He was so timid and scared of everything and now
it´s all history, although he still sometimes gets
scared of some things. Also he´s still afraid of big
dogs but not much as he used to. The first year hasn´t
been easy as Bernie had so many bad memories and he had
so low self-esteem, still it has been worth all the
efforts and rough times. Bernie is so gentle, lovely,
nice and playfull, a heart full of gold. I´m so happy
that Bernie is now a very happy dog :o)
Bernie lives with me and my two other small dogs in
Tampere, Finland. Niina
Andy,
a great friend
of Heike (our Germany charity contact)
started off by adopting Moonbeam and Jackie.
He then added Gizmo to his family.
Then later he added India to his family, and
just recently he has agreed to foster Lulu
in the hope of finding her a permanent home.
I think he deserves a medal and a special
mention for giving a loving home to five
APAH cats. Mind you, Heike herself is
currently looking after eight cats, and
seven of them are APAH cats! She has
adopted Boots, Sweetie, Mittens, and Chanel,
and is looking after Murphy and Cassidy for
her daughter, and fostering Lizzie. So
she also needs a huge pat on the back.
I Guess they are
all in there somewhere!!!!!!.
