Owner's Appeal's - This page is for Animal's currently not in A.P.A.H care but for whatever reason the owner's are trying to find new homes for their Animal's so please contact the owner's direct.

Lucas is about 2 years old.  He is part Siamese, likes to answer you when you talk to him, and tells you when he is hungry, but apart from that, he is very quiet.  He was rescued on a night in January, after being found badly beaten, and thrown onto someone's terrace.  He sustained fractures of the pelvis and hips, and damage to one of his back legs.  Understandably, he was terrified of people, and in immense pain.  Following months of love and care in a foster home, his transformation is amazing.  With medical care he is recovering from his wounds, and is able to walk.

He loves to spend hours lying in his bed, and is satisfied with little walks around the house, and is very happy just using a litter tray.  As he will probably never recover the full use of a cat's flexibility, he will be much happier in an apartment or house where there is no pressure for him to go outside.  He does not run, and cannot jump any great height, but can manage the sofa!
Lucas would be a wonderful indoor companion cat for someone living quietly alone.  A home with other cats, dogs or young children would probably be too much for him.  What he needs is a calm and loving environment.  For information on how to meet Lucas, please contact Chris on 630 422 563.

Details:
Name: Ben
Breed: Pointer
Age: Between 1 year and 18 months (approx)
Sex: Male – not castrated
Found: Abandoned in our street with no microchipIs currently living outside with a kennel – but definitely yard trained – goes insame place as our dog in the garden but more often than not waits until he is taken for a walk.
Gets on with all dogs and has befriended everyone in our neighbourhood – a lovely playful temperment.
Curious about cats – will chase them if they run – but just tries to sniff ours – certainly means them no harm.
Is very energetic on the lead so is currently learning some lead manners.   Will sit on command and come back
when called.  I’ll keep on working at the training while we have him as I think he will come on very well – seems keen to learn.Rarely barks – only if someone strange approaches our gate but stops when told.
If  there is anything else you need just let me know. If you are interested in giving Ben a home please contact Martine on  968543057 or mobile 626544987
