Welcome

Asociación Protectora de Animales Horadada (APAH) is an animal rescue charity caring for abandoned and homeless cats and dogs in Pilar de la Horadada on Spain's Costa Blanca. We became a registered Charity in 2002 and have managed to re-home in the region of 1300 animals since we were formed and yet we still don't have a permanent home of our own! Despite what you may have read in the local press we still need to locate suitable land/premises if we are to continue protecting and caring for the abandoned animals. We really do need your help, please contact us now. if you know of somewhere suitable.

Shop and Sunday Market Volunteers Required APAH is one of the leading local charities involved with the rescue and rehoming of abandoned and mistreated dogs and cats in Pilar de la Horadada and the surrounding areas. To date we have rehomed more than 1300 animals. To continue this important work, we need to strengthen our unpaid volunteer teams at our charity shop at Avenida Siete Higüeras 14 Pilar de la Horadada and also at our Sunday Market at Pinar de la Campoverde. Both ladies and gentlemen are welcome to apply! A basic command of Spanish would be particularly helpful. We are always looking for  bric a brac, furniture, clothes and books to sell in our shop or on the market stall.

This is what the APAH Volunteer's do on a Sunday morning, the market at Campoverde.

If you would like to make a donation to APAH Click Here for details.
